Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and GameMatch LLC (“GameMatch,” “we,” “us”) and govern your access to and use of the GameMatch website at gogamematch.com, our mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create a self-managed account. Players under 13 may not create their own accounts; a parent or legal guardian must create and manage their profile. Accounts that represent a team, program, or a minor must be managed by a responsible adult. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for all activity under your account, and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Subscriptions, billing & refunds

Some features require a paid subscription. Team Manager accounts are offered at the price shown at checkout (currently $10/month) and may include a free trial for new subscribers. Trials require a valid payment method; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically begins and your card is charged. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.

• Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your Billing page or the customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
• No partial refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
• Tournament, clinic & event fees. Entry fees and program fees are set by the organizer of that event, not by GameMatch. GameMatch facilitates the payment but is not the seller of those events; refunds and cancellations for those fees are governed by the organizer’s policy.
• Price changes. We may change subscription pricing or features; we will give reasonable advance notice of material changes, and changes apply to your next billing period.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full card number. By subscribing or paying a fee, you also agree to Stripe’s terms.

Acceptable use

• Do not post unlawful, harassing, abusive, hateful, or misleading content.
• Do not impersonate another team, player, organization, or person.
• Do not misuse messaging, listings, scoring, or matchmaking features to spam, harass, or defraud.
• Do not collect or misuse other users’ personal information, and do not contact minors except through the guardian channels the Service provides.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit — team and profile information, rosters, photos, availability, listings, messages, and scores. You grant GameMatch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights to share the content you post and, where it includes another person (including a minor), that you have the necessary permission to do so.

Interactions & safety

GameMatch is a coordination and discovery tool. We do not organize, host, supervise, verify, or assume responsibility for any games, practices, tryouts, tournaments, clinics, leagues, rosters, or in-person interactions arranged through the Service, and we do not conduct background checks on users. You are solely responsible for evaluating the teams, players, organizers, and events you interact with and for the safety of any minors in your care. Exercise the same caution you would with any online marketplace.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Google Firebase / Google Cloud (authentication, database, storage, messaging) and Stripe (payments). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or any content they provide.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the GameMatch name and logo, is owned by GameMatch LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameMatch and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from games, events, or interactions arranged through the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GameMatch LLC and its owners from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk or legal exposure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including content licenses already granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Nevada, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
